Backwash Filters

These water filters use standard Filtering medias such as Filter AG, Sand, Mixed Medias, Carbon etc. The typical use is to remove suspended particles (to 20 micron), de-chlorinate water, improve the taste and remove odor from the water.
A thorough backwash prevents the bed from channeling or locking-up, and allows the filter to have a long service life.

Sand Filters
An economical filter for removing silt, turbidity, suspended matter and rust particles within the range of 20 -25 microns.

Multi Media Filters
Multi Media filters are an advanced type of filter to deal with removing silt, turbidity, suspended matter and rust particles within the range of 20 -25 microns.

Activated Carbon Filters
Used for the absorption of undesirable tastes and odours in water caused by dissolved or suspended organic matter. Can also be used for removal of chlorine.

Manganese Greensand Filters
Used for the oxidation and filtration of dissolved iron and manganese in water.
